Westfield haul

Okay so went to Westfield with a friend today and I went mad, spent so so much, but most things were stuff I've wanted for such a long time and I finally got them!
Boots:
[L-R] Tart Deco by Essie | Hologram by Barry M | Collection 2000 Pressed Powder | Models Owns nail art pen in black | Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 Hour foundation | Rimmel 1000 Kisses Lip Tint & Balm | Miss Sporty clear varnish
Got the Miss Sporty clear nail varnishes as it was two for £3, and they're good as a base, but I got the varnishes by Essie and Barry M just because they are so lovely. I've put them on together and they look so nice.
The Collection 2000 powder and Rimmel 25 Hour foundation are what I use all the time. Certain Rimmel products were two for £10, so I got the lip tint and balm for cheaper. I used this today and I'm unsure, I don't know if I like lip stains but we'll see!
I included in the background a free booklet on the Philosophy products, I love looking through this, their products are so nice and I may get some for my birthday.
Lush:
Sweet Lips lip scrub | Breath Of Fresh Air toner water
I have just used both of these, it is LOVE.
My lips have never been this smooth, even after using balm they're still quite flaky, this has saved me. Also it's a nice lil treat as it tastes nice too :)
The toner water really does what the name says, my skin and myself feel refreshed right now.
HMV:
Ill Manors | The Defermation Of Strickland Banks | Who Needs Actions When You Got Words
HUGE Plan B fan, still haven't got all the albums. Got them copied from friends and finally decided to get them for myself because he's just amazing.
Urban Outfitters:
Brown purse
This brown purse is plain and will fit everything I need, I liked the buckle too...that's pretty much it!
H&M:
Grey vest | Leather style shorts
So I tried these on and basically saw these clothes are meant to be together... the perfect outfit. These shorts are highwaisted (I love high waisted stuff, hides my belly!) and the vest is just very simple and nice. Wearing these out tomorrow evening so may do an OOTD.
Hope you enjoyed my huge shopping post! I am VERY happy with all the stuff I got :)

OOTD: Denim

Creepers: Asos | Shirt: New Look | Chains: H&M and Matalan | Anklet: Gift

So today I went on a maaajor shopping spree at Westfield, so happy with all the stuff I got! Will do a haul post later today/ tomorrow.
Wore this because it's so comfy but also looks really nice. This dress/shirt is actually meant to be a jacket, but I decided to wear it as a dress with shorts underneath and I love it. Teamed it with some gold chains, an anklet and my orange creepers.
Perfect shopping outfit, stylish and majorly comfy.

Competition: RedRock

Clockwise:
White Studded Leather Jacket-Ragged Priest, Vibrant pink crop top-Maarten Van Der Horst, Rounded sunglasses-Topshop, White studded loafer-Unif, Flamingo Tropicana short-RedRock.

Hi guys,
This is my entry to this great competition that RedRock are holding. All you do is choose 1 or more pieces from their collection or their ASOS marketplace and show how you would style it. I love vibrant prints and coordinating colours and patterns so i went for the Tropicana short, i chose to style it with plain block colours that were in the shorts i.e the crop top-pink and sunglasses-minty green, so that is didn't distract from the print but merely just accented it. I decided to add the white studded jacket  and shoes because i love the 90's grunge trend, but i like mixing this up with bright colours and chose the white instead of black so that the main attention was on the patterned RedRock Shorts.

I think its a great competition and really gives us the chance to show of individuality and style, so everyone please enter here.
Hope you enjoyed,
Peace xxxx

OOTD: Co-ords

Top and shorts - River Island

So here's a quick bad quality and badly taken OOTD. Just wanted to show you guys this outfit I bought ages ago, and because the sun has finally come out I can wear it!
It's really thin material so it's perfect for summer, also I think the print is so nice. I love the look of co-ordinated clothes. River Island had a feature on this a few months back and so did Topshop, I don't think they're on the websites anymore which is annoying, but yeah I just love this idea for an outfit!
I was only at home today so hardly any makeup, awful hair, no shoes and no jewellery, woo!

Festival tips: Dos and Don'ts

After going to my first festival this weekend I decided to do a few tips.
I decided before going, there's no hope on being overly fashionable, it's too hot, your clothes get crumpled in your bag and then ruined by people spilling drink on you or splashing mud.

> Don't bother wearing nice shirts (which are my fave things to wear) or your best tops.
> Don't bother wearing your best shoes - I wanted to wear my flatform sandals and creepers, but it's been raining so much - the whole place was a pit of mud.

> Do wear wellies or trainers
> Do wear vests or cropped vests - they'll keep you cool and they can't really get ruined - stay on trend by wearing something dip dyed, tie dyed, neon or with the peace symbol
> Do bring with you a bandanna or a headband - it'll give your look for the day a little fashionable twist and it's nothing that's too much hassle.
> Do bring one necklace - I bought a spiked necklace to make my outfits look a little different.

After spending the night couped up in a tent, I can guarantee you that you will not really care much for what you look like / how fashionable you are. I had such an amazing weekend just wearing vests, shorts and trainers, concentrating on the music.

Here's what I wore, simple stuff with little hints of trends:

Day 1 - High waisted shorts, neon yellow racer back vest and a spiked necklace
Day 2 - High waisted shorts, orange vest knotted at the front
Day 3 - Shorts, white vest, bandanna

I only took pictures with disposables, which I will scan and post when developed.

What's your favourite thing to wear at festivals?

Summer craves

Clockwise:

Unif Hellraisers - £105
These shoes i have wanted for so long. When i went over to America in feb i was scanning everywhere searching for them. Even considering buying them online over there and getting them shipped to my hotel but i was only out there for a week with my school and it was risky, so i didn't. I went to buy them online last night and went through the entire till process and typed my card details in and throught YAY i have them, only to get a email saying, we are sorry but we have none left in stock we will send you a email when we do. so oh. I know they are expensive but i have wanted them for so long now i am willing to may the hefty pricetag. The only thing is import tax you get charged like 20%+ on the item you by so i would be charged £20 extra for import. I dunno what to do, WHY CAN'T THEY STOCK THEM IN THE UK!!!!!!!

Basic white top - Topman £7
I have been searching for a low neck white top for ages because i only have one white top and i am really not keen on the fit of it and really want to experiment with the whole basic/styling a white t-shirt.

Gazelle print short sleeve shirt - Topman £28
I really like this. Perfect for summer or even under a blazer for going out. It reminds me of the orange convict prison outfit for some reason ahahaha. oh well. I am a fan of orange but i have never really tried wearing it so ye i really want this.

Burgundy fringed loafers - Topman £46
I love burgundy and i love fringed loafers, so these are basically my perfect shoe! And the plus size is they are only 46! and for men, shoes like this don't come much cheaper than that unless you find some in a charity/vintage shop.

White creepers - T.U.K £70
I love my creepers, but i really want another pair, these are not from underground they are from a company called t.u.k, they are a bit cheaper than the underground ones, but if the quality isn't as good, then  i would prefer to stick to underground because they are traditional British!

Black Palm tree tee - Topman £18
I like this top it sort of reminds me of batique, where you use wax and ink to make the pattern. Or a lino print or something done in art, i really like it.

Hope you enjoyed,
Peace xxxxx

OOTD - Union jack (red,white&blue) - Olympics London 2012

Shirt - DIY levis denim shirt £5
Jeans - Topman £28
Shoes - Underground creepers £90

Hey guys,
This is what i wore today, i decided to get quite patriotic with the red, white and blue, because the Olympics are being hosted in the UK this year, with them due to start on the 27th July. I made the shirt myself trying out the ombre trend by dipping the top half in bleach, i wanted it go go white but its gone more of a dirty pink/coral colour. I decided to wear these bright blue jeans for the blue element, which i haven't worn in over a year, but i will definitely be wearing them when it heats up, with vests and tees because they are not too tight and i really like the fit of them.

Hope you enjoy,
Peace xxxxxx

Olsen twins

I just love that they take aspects of high fashion and use them for their daily looks.
I also really love their hair... I know sometimes it can look overly frizzy and untamed, but it really suits them, I wish I could pull that off!

Lindsay Lohan

[images sourced from Tumblr, llohan.tumblr.com & lindsaylohan.tumblr.com]

I love this woman. I know, most people think she's a complete train wreck, nothing to aspire to etc. etc., but I don't care.
Her style changes so much, from sexy to cute. I think it's so good for people to be able to change it up, not just to stick to one style.
Dallas Green

Not only is this man an amazing artist, he also dresses amazingly. Always in shirts or suits, which is something I luuuurve. I love proper tailored clothing and also how he contrasts this smart look with his tattoos and slicked back hair which is a lot more casual.

Zooey Deschanel

Cute, classic and beautiful. She always looks dressed up and lovely, I wish I looked like this all the time too!

Rihanna

I absolutely love this woman. Both style and music are amazing. I love the way she is such a style chameleon, she is constantly reinventing herself. I am sure she has a team of stylists to do this, but she pulls it off each time. I love the way she can go from her layed back 90's grunge looks to a sleek black dress and look so graceful and classy.

Solange Knowles

I envy this woman so much. Not only is she sisters with Beyonce but her style is impeccable and she is starting to make a big name for herself because of it. I love the way she rocks her natural hair i think its stunning.

Kanye West

I think Kanye leads the way when it comes to men's fashion. I love his everyday smart fashion he has going on. I love styling a plain white shirt with a blazer and Kanye does this alot. I like aswell, Kanye is sometimes seen rocking a vintage tee under a smart structured blazer or a bomber jacket.

OOTD: Lazy, rainy day

Tshirt: Bay | Hoodie: New Look | Necklace: Really old, no idea | Earrings: Matalan | Bangle: H&M | Ring: Gift |  Plazzo pants: New Look | Sandals: Matalan

Here's my 'I can't be bothered to look nice because it's raining' look. Today has just been awful weather and I haven't really done much either, these trousers are perfect for lazing around in.
The last picture really shows my frustration at my boyfriend taking these photos and not really knowing what he's doing haha! So excuse the face, but it shows my accessories well.

I love love looove my shoes, they're like a cheapo flatform sandal from Matalan. Will be doing a post on flatform sandals soon!

Hope you've all had a good day
